Direct route / inquiry only

Start a music inquiry.

Send the brief before you send the adjectives. Contact RUXDEN in Austin about licensing a track or making something together. Name the release and tell us where the music will live. The catalogue is inquiry only. No checkout, no binding quote.

Inquiry form

Start an inquiry about music work.

Name and consent are needed. Phone and email are both optional by themselves, but one reachable contact is needed so RUXDEN can answer.

For a licensing inquiry, a territory or market is more useful than a full personal address.
Include the edit length or delivery format you need. For licensing, add the territory and term. Do not send sensitive information.
What is the track for? Name a release if you have one in mind, and give the date you need an answer.

The catalogue is open for licensing inquiries. Sending this form starts a conversation; it does not accept a licence or create a payment obligation.

Write the use brief.

A music licensing inquiry should name the intended media, territory, term, edit needs, and deadline. A music for film inquiry can add the scene, duration, and delivery format. A music for games inquiry should say whether the track is for a menu, level, trailer, or another defined use.

For independent track licensing, say which release caught your ear. The catalogue includes short music releases and ambient electronic tracks with their own constraints. If the right track is not known, describe the scene or audience without promising an outcome.

A collaboration inquiry needs a concise brief, the material you bring, the contribution you expect, and the rights split to be discussed. RUXDEN does not accept a request that only says “make something cool.” That leaves the actual work undefined.

What happens after you send it

RUXDEN uses your brief to work out which questions need answering before discussing terms. A request to license a music track needs a defined use. A collaboration needs a clear contribution from each side. If either is missing, the next exchange is about the brief, not a quote.

Give the actual deadline, including the time zone if the date is close. A successful form submission confirms that the inquiry is stored. It does not confirm that the track is available or that RUXDEN can meet your schedule. There is no guaranteed response time for music inquiries.

Keep a copy of your brief. If you follow up, use the same reply address and include the inquiry reference shown after submission. That is more useful than starting another thread with no release name.

Before sending

An inquiry is not a licence.

RUXDEN is an independent music project. Sending a brief does not reserve a track or grant permission to use it. This site does not display public prices. A later conversation is scoped by the actual use: intended media, term, territory, edit, clearance needs, delivery format, and deadline.

There is no promise of placement, audience size, exclusivity, approval, or a guaranteed result. Those answers depend on the work and the proposed use. The form gives enough room to make that clear before anyone spends time on a fit.

If your inquiry concerns personal data rather than music, do not put it in the notes field. Use the data request page or email [email protected].
